Auction Against Hunger
Fancy having an evening of foodie fun whilst rubbing shoulders with some of the restaurant industry’s elite and raising money for charity?
Humanitarian organisation, Action Against Hunger, is holding an Auction Against Hunger on the roof of Shoreditch House on 7 May to raise money for some of the world’s malnourished children.
On offer will be a series of delicious donations from the likes of Angela Hartnett, Alain Roux, Chris Corbin and Jeremy King, ETM Group, MEATliquor, Thomasina Miers, Cinnamon Kitchen, Paul Young, Seven Park Place, The River Cafe and Soho House, plus the chance to dine with critic Jay Rayner while he reviews a restaurant, enjoy salmon fishing in Ireland with eminent chef and restaurateur Mark Hix, or spend a night at the Waterside Inn, Bray, and dine at the three Michelin star restaurant with the legendary Alain Roux.
At the event, you will enjoy a champagne reception courtesy of Champagne Taittinger, some essential sustenance from Dirty Burger and Chicken Shop, among others, a raffle, live music and magic tricks (or course!).
